Clinical Quality & Patient Safety Manager
West London NHS Trust provides a full range of mental health, community and physical healthcare services for children, adults and older people living in the London boroughs of Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham and Hounslow.
We also provide some specialist services that are commissioned regionally, such as our medium secure services; and nationally, such as the Cassel Hospital for people with complex and severe personality disorder and our high secure services at Broadmoor Hospital.

West London NHS Trust is looking to recruit an exceptional person to support the Trust Clinical Governance Teams, through a ‘leading by example’ approach. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-moving environment, and who has the skills and temperament to work in a collaborative manner across a wide range of both internal and external services.
The post holder will be an integral member of the Local Services Clinical Governance team, supporting the Trust and Local Services Clinical Service Lines roles regarding: patient safety and clinical assurance, serious incident investigations and associated learning, specialist clinical governance oversight and contributing to delivering the Trust-wide clinical governance agenda.
The post holder will provide senior specialist clinical quality and patient safety advice and will lead on safety related activities as well as playing a key role in providing clinical quality advice and support to the Hounslow Community Healthcare clinical service line, ensuring a seamless quality response for the areas that they oversee.
The post holder will both contribute to, and lead, on the development of quality and safety reports for regular and ad hoc meetings. They will also advise the Clinical Directors, Local Services Governance Leads and other Trust staff on safety issues and wider clinical quality issues.

The post holder will provide senior specialist clinical quality and patient safety leadership, advice and expertise during the transition, embedding and ‘business as usual’ phases of the taking responsibility of Hounslow Community Healthcare (HCH), from July 2024. The post holder will lead on all patient safety and patient experience related activities relevant to ensuring a smooth transition for HCS, as well as playing a key role in providing clinical quality advice and support to ensure that HCS are seamlessly embedded within the Trust Integrated Care Services. The post holder will be an integral member of the Clinical Governance team, supporting the Trust and Integrated Care Services regarding: patient safety and clinical assurance, PSIRF and associated learning, specialist clinical governance oversight and contributing to delivering the Trust-wide clinical governance agenda. Specific related duties will be driven by the needs of HCH. The post holder will provide senior specialist clinical quality and patient safety advice and will lead on safety related activities as well as playing a key role in providing clinical quality advice and support to HCH service line, Clinical and Executive Directors, to ensure a seamless quality response for the areas that they oversee.
