We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our Team within the Private Care Division. Private Care at RNOH offers complex and routine orthopaedic surgery to patients from across the World.   As the number one specialist orthopaedic hospital in the UK and number nine globally, we work with the top orthopaedic surgeons and attract the highest calibre of staff 

 This is a key role in actively promoting and marketing private care services to develop referral pathways and increase the patient numbers.  Being a part this growing team, you will be responsible for assisting in improved engagement, increased activity and revenue. This is an exciting time to be joining the Private Care team in supporting continuous growth. This role will be pivotal in promoting RNOHs services.

 The successful candidate will demonstrate a professional approach, have excellent communication skills, instrumental in the delivery of continuous quality improvement for patient experiences, and ensuring our Consultants are supported to offer services within the terms of their practising privileges. Building relationships and looking after our customers who refer patients from GP surgeries, and  muscular skeletal services (physio’s etc).  Supporting the wider PR and communication requirements of RNOH and its other operating subsidiaries as needed.

·         To strengthen and maintain our GP and Physio network through excellent face to face communication, running events and ongoing correspondence

·         The post holder will be expected to travel to locations across the regions as well as being office based

·         Organise a calendar of events, requiring flexibility to work on occasional evenings, breakfast meetings and Saturdays as required

·         Support the Trust Communications team in producing marketing materials and patient experience collateral 

·         Research and capitalise on different marketing opportunities to improve service reach and profitability.

·     

·         Develop Consultant profiles and collaborate to develop service and business development

·         Participate and cultivate new opportunities to maintain relationship with important stakeholders

·         Work alongside the Managing Director and collaborate with other managers and key employees to achieve important goals including leading and inputting into projects and service developments

·         Gather, investigate and summarise data and trends to provide accurate information through reports and action plans

Situated on the 4th floor of the beautiful Stanmore Building, Private Care RNOH have a dedicated private patient facilities including 18 en-suite bedrooms, personalise hotel services, nursing and clinical teams.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

·         Ongoing analysis of the organisations competition to create plans for engagement

·         Develop Consultant profiles and collaborate to develop service and business development

·         Input into the annual budget to meet marketing and sales objectives

·         Identify trends and determine system improvements to achieve marketing and sales operational goals

·         Participate and cultivate new opportunities to maintain relationship with important stakeholders

·         Work alongside the Managing Director and collaborate with other managers and key employees to achieve important goals including leading and inputting into projects and service developments

·         Gather, investigate and summarise data and trends to provide accurate information through reports and action plans

·         Stay up to date on job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, attending conferences and workshops, reading professional publications, maintaining a personal network and joining professional organizations

 

Business Development Executive Requirements

 

       Experience within the private sector preferred

       Track record of business development and managing key relationships to grow a service in healthcare but not compulsory

       Proven administrative and analytical experience, including complex situations and communicating with various stakeholders and colleagues in fast-paced role

       Excellent organisational skills and time management skills with the ability to multi-task.

       Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment

       Comfortable working independently and proactively as well as collaboratively with a team in a sometimes agile/ remote (MS Teams) environment

       Familiarity with data analysis and reporting, proficient in the use of MS office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Power BI, Compucare

       Strong interpersonal skills

       Proven ability to learn quickly and use information

       Proven ability to deliver results

       The role will engage with all aspects of a growing business. Importantly, we need someone that fits with the culture and ethos of what we are building.
