NHS North East London Integrated Care Board (ICB) was formed on 1 July 2022.
We are an exciting new organisation putting the needs of communities at the heart of our commissioning arrangements.
We are working with local people and partners across health, social care and the voluntary sector in innovative ways to improve health and wellbeing for all our communities. Job overview
We are currently recruiting for a Tester to join our directorate.
NHS North East London Integrated Care Board are responsible for planning and commissioning health services across north east London and are accountable for NHS spend and performance, ensuring all parts of the local health system work effectively together.
We set strategies, policies and plans where these are best done at the scale of the whole of north east London. We also set the overall financial strategy for the health system and make sure that everyone can get core services in an appropriate setting.
Our core purpose is to ensure that the population of north east London are healthy and thriving, with good levels of mental wellbeing, and have good access to high quality health and care services that wrap around the individual and ensure the best possible outcomes. We do this by bringing together health partners, local authorities and the voluntary community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector, with residents, patients and service users to improve how we plan and deliver care and support services.
The population in North East London is diverse and is set to grow by 18% in the next fifteen years as a greater number of people choose to live in the area. The area also faces unique challenges, five out of our eight boroughs are in the highest quintile for deprivation in the UK.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will have:
· Desirable skills for this role would be:
- Significant experience working in a testing or QA role at a similar area.
- Experience and understanding working on confidential or sensitive projects.
- Knowledge and experience with Data handling and privacy policies and frameworks.
- Knowledge and experience working with SQL and ability to read and write queries.
- Understanding of the test process.
- Experience producing test artefacts, documentation and reports.
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Good stakeholder and vendor management skills.
- Comfortable delivering and participating in various meetings at all levels.
- Attention to detail.
Other desirable skills for this role would be:
- Understanding the public sector.
- Experience in the Healthcare environment.
- Some level of management skills and proactive approach to working and managing multiple work items.
- Understanding of the SDLC process.
