An opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Team Leader Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to work within the clinical specialty of Acute Medicine at Fairfield General Hospital in Bury. We would welcome you to join our dynamic and supportive team. If you are passionate about making a difference, this team is for you.  We aim to restore optimal function and promote independence and wellbeing of patients whilst facilitating discharge and linking in with our community partners. We offer an innovative service and pride ourselves on providing evidence based, quality care.

Main duties of the job

You will gain experience of working in a busy and pro-active environment where evidence-based practice is embedded and joint working, service development and CPD is encouraged. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced band 6 looking to progress in their career or an existing band 7 wanting to specialise in this dynamic clinical area.

As a band 7 you will  receive support from your peers and from the Band 8 Operational & Professional Therapy Lead.  You will be expected to provide supervision to more junior staff and students.
