Job overview

The Radiology Directorate is looking to recruit keen, motivated and enthusiastic Radiographers to join our dedicated team of highly skilled professional Radiographers at  Fairfield General Hospital.  Students due to qualify in June 2025 are welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

You will work as part of the radiography team, providing an efficient and high quality imaging service 24/7, whilst dealing with patients in a caring professional manner. You will be expected, over time, to develop skills and experience in a range of areas and will be supported throughout this time by senior radiographers, although immediate supervision may not always be practicable.

You must have a degree or equivalent in Radiography obtained in the United Kingdom and be HCPC registered.

These posts are ideal for Radiographers who wish to develop their skills in a busy hospital setting.

The departments offer a preceptorship scheme and an induction programme. The departments provide clinical placements for undergraduate radiographers and are committed to learning and development. Role extension is actively encouraged.
