The part you play

We are looking for experienced and  enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants who are willing to get stuck in and hit the ground running.

You’ll be someone who works well under pressure, is a great team player as well as being self-motivated and able to work independently when needed. You’ll be someone who truly understands the need for care, consideration and respect for our patients but also applies these qualities to your team members.  

A  ‘can do’ attitude and determination to be flexible and embrace change to deliver the best patient care is essential as well as a desire to grow and improve our ever growing service.

Your communication skills will be second to none, working collaboratively with patients, relatives/carers and Colleagues to help plan a safe and seamless journey home.

This really is a unique opportunity for  Healthcare Assistant who is looking to pursue a career in a hospital setting with a passion for stroke. We are a well established team dedicated to serving patients following a stroke.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 in Healthcare or a Level 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship - or equivalent experience
  • Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE English and Maths Grade D-G)
  • Care Certificate

Skills & Abilities

  • Good communication (written and verbal skills)
  • Basic IT skills
  • Good organisational skills

Knowledge, Training & Experience

  • Experience of working as a Care Support Worker or equivalent in a Health or Social care setting
