We'd love to hear from compassionate midwives who thrive working as an autonomous practitioner and aim to deliver the highest standard of care and support for women and birthing people across the region.
As part of our antenatal pathways improvement programme, our maternity service are looking for a Midwifery Ultrasound Practitioner to join their proactive team.
The role will provide an excellent environment to support you to combine both midwifery practice and your ultrasound skills, providing high quality holistic care to women and birthing people.
Main duties of the job
The role will include providing planned antenatal midwifery care alongside third trimester ultrasound scans for women and birthing people who have been identified as having a moderate risk factor for fetal growth restriction.
The role will also involve undertaking third trimester ultrasounds for women and birthing people who require an ultrasound scan following a community midwifery appointment or maternity triage attendance.
This may also provide an excellent development opportunity for you to practice midwifery within the triage setting as part of an inspiring and committed team.
