Job overview

The Northern Care Alliance is excited to announce a vacancy in the neurology pharmacy team.

The Neurology Department at the Manchester Centre for Clinical Neurosciences (MCCN) provides specialist and general neurological services to people across Greater Manchester.  There is a dedicated acute neurology unit with 26 inpatient beds and also a longer stay rehabilitation ward.  You will provide a comprehensive pharmacist service to these areas and also be involved in managing day case patients.  Under the supervision of the Senior MCCN pharmacist, you will have the opportunity to attend specialist MDT meetings and contribute to local and regional clinical guidance, benefiting complex neurology patients across Greater Manchester.

Your proven track record within acute hospital clinical pharmacy along with your clinical diploma and non medical prescribing qualification will give you the background to excel in this position. Experience in neurology is desirable but not essential providing you have transferable skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right Pharmacist and a warm welcome awaits you with our friendly and supportive teams both within the Salford Pharmacy Department and the wider Northern Care Alliance.
