Job overview

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Data Quality Team as an Apprentice Data Quality Officer.  This post will provide support in identifying and correcting erroneous and incomplete data in order to maximise the quality of the data on the Trusts Patient Administration System.  You will assist in ensuring data quality issues are resolved in a timely fashion, liaising with other departments within the Trust when necessary.

Main duties of the job

Based at Stepping Hill Hospital and working within the Data Quality Team the post holder will investigate and respond to a variety of data quality issues, ensuring the trust data is of a high standard. The role will require you to provide advice to staff to improve the data quality by encouraging them to amend and correct inaccurate and missing information.

You will need to have an interest in data and a keen eye for detail, plus the ability to deliver work to required standards and timescales. Having excellent communications skills to engage with a wide range of staff, you will be proactive and methodical, working logically with great attention to detail and be tenacious in resolving problems.

You will join a friendly and dedicated Data Quality team committed to delivering a high quality and responsive service to the Trust.
