Job overview

Stepping Hill Hospital NHS Foundation Trust are seeking applications for a locum Consultant in Orthodontics to join the Team for  6 months   covering Maternity leave. The successful applicant should have the ability and commitment to promote best practice in patient management in conjunction with delivering local and national targets. Your experience and enthusiasm will be supported by a skilled team of clinical staff along with a full complement of dedicated and trained dental nurses

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will join a team of medical and nursing staff committed to providing a high-quality surgical service to the people of Stockport. The common aim will be to develop the department in aspects of clinical service. Close teamwork is an essential requirement

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Provide four sessions of outpatient activity to treat patients under active orthodontic treatment. These patients will include MDT hypodontia and orthognathic cases.

Attend 1 joint orthognathic clinic every 2 months. 

Provide management of out-patients
