To perform administrative and clerical duties for patients attending Radiology. |
To work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high standards of patient care, assisting the Radiographers in the clinical area. The post holder will work under the supervision of a Radiographer qualified in their relevant area.
Main duties of the job
To perform administrative and clerical duties for patients attending Radiology. To work as part of the weekend and evening team during the hours of 9:00am – 4:30pm and 4:30pm-midnight across 7 days. Some daytime weekday working may be required to facilitate training. To assist the Radiographers during patient examinations in the Radiology Department working within the scope of department procedures and practices. To be responsible for the care and comfort of the patient whilst in the Department.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
- To perform administrative and clerical duties for patients attending Radiology.
- To work as part of the weekend and evening team during the hours of 9:00am – 4:30pm and 4:30pm-midnight across 7 days. Some daytime weekday working may be required to facilitate training.
- To assist the Radiographers during patient examinations in the Radiology Department working within the scope of department procedures and practices.
- To be responsible for the care and comfort of the patient whilst in the Department.
• If successful this vacancy will require a Standard DBS check at a cost of £21.90. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary
In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £13.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
