This will be approximately 80% of the role.  The second element of the role involves being an active member of the resuscitation service, which will focus on providing the multi-professional team with the prerequisite skills needed to deal with the deteriorating patient and victims of cardiac arrest. This is primarily based around resuscitation training.  In addition, there is an expectation that the post holder will provide clinical support for the ‘emergency team’.  This will form the remaining 20% of the role.

The role will involve embracing the audit cycle, research, reporting back findings into the organisational hierarchy.

The post is based in the Education Centre at Stepping Hill Hospital.  The post holder will be required to engage with both community-based and inpatient stake holders and network with other sepsis and resuscitation providers.
