An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of the Specialist Services Care group in the role of Quality Matron for Community CAMHS Services.
Reporting directly to the Head of Nursing and Quality, you will work as an integral part of the Care group, ensuring high quality care is provided to patients and their families, building on the "outstanding" work achieved so far.
The Quality Matron role is the cornerstone of improving the quality of patient care. They do this through visible, inclusive leadership and engagement with patients and families, frontline staff and senior management teams.
Main duties of the job
The Quality Matron will support the The Head of Nursing and Quality and the wider team to deliver clinical leadership, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, high quality clinical care and consistent achievement of care standards. This will be in line with the nationally agreed 10 key responsibilities set out in the matrons handbook as below:

The post holder will deliver transformation of clinical services to best meet the needs of the population within the care group. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team the post holder will provide Quality Leadership to facilitate consistent best practice, this will include taking a key role in the future shaping and development of services.

Senior operational/clinical experience

- Significant experience at band 7 level or above

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
