Job overview
We are actively recruiting Staff Nurses to the Emergency Department at LUHFT. We believe in excellent patient care and would like to recruit dynamic individuals who believe in our trust values and will ensure that every patient receives gold standard care. The work-load throughout the department is very varied and interesting with no two days being the same.
The successful candidate must be dynamic, possess excellent communication skills, and have a high sense of professionalism and a strong belief in the value of teamwork. As a newly merged trust we offer rotation between sites across the Division. We are family friendly and flexible with shifts and offer a wide range of long days and short shifts across both sites.

Main duties of the job
As a Band 5 Nurse you will be offered a comprehensive development package including a period of supernumerary, training and education and a Preceptorship programme. You will have access to the departmental education team and have the opportunity to develop and progress your career as you work towards the RCN Level 1 and Level 2 competencies. You will have the opportunity to work in all the areas of the Emergency Department and if you choose to you can work across site at the Trauma Centre.
