Job overview

This post is aiming to attract an experienced clinician to work across the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

The post would be appropriate for an overseas or UK trained individual would is seeking additional training and experience in the specialty.

The Fellow will attend theatre sessions, clinics and multidisciplinary clinics and undertake ward rounds. They will also be expected to participate in either the first tier on-call rota or with appropriate experience the second tier oncall rota

The Fellow will be based within the OMFS team working in Aintree University Hospital which is part of LUHFT.

The Maxillofacial Surgery unit at Liverpool is one of the busiest in the UK providing the service for most of Cheshire and Merseyside.

Person specification

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Full GDC registration or a UK registerable dental qualification by the start date of the post
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification desirable

OMFS Experience

Essential criteria
  • Applicants have evidence of clinical experience, skills and knowledge in OMFS
  • Applicants should have support from their trainers and colleagues to work at a Fellow level.
