Job overview

Due to the departure of the current post holder, we now have a vacancy for a Band 7 Team Leader at the Norris Green Hub.

The successful candidate will work as part of the management team at the hub which includes 5 band 7 team leaders. The successful candidate will be able to access support from both the Operational Manager and their band 7 colleagues, the team itself is well established team with a skilled multi-disciplinary group of staff including a Senior Advanced Practitioner, Occupational Therapists, Consultants and Primary Care Mental Health leads.

The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high quality team leadership across the different MDT's, supporting Community Transformation and leading staff to embed new ways of working to support the community we serve.

There is an emphasis on transformation work that drives contemporary mental health care and the development of how CMHT's are going to be expected to perform in collaboration with the Integrated Care Team model.

Main duties of the job

To provide clinical and managerial leadership within a CMHT across the North Liverpool catchment area. To work as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team to ensure a consistent approach to the care of Service Users.

To build effective relationships with other care providers and ensure that views of Service Users, Carers, relatives and friends are given appropriate recognition.

To influence and shape evidence based clinical practice and to take a lead role in the implementation and support change

To operate in a role that is primarily therapeutic in nature developing effective relationships with Service User in a variety of care settings.

Qualifications

  • Registered mental Health Nurse or appropriate professional qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years post registration experience within mental health services
  • Evidence of post registration study / continuing professional development.
