Job overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an administrator who enjoys supporting a leadership team to not only improve access to services but also the quality of the services we provide

 

The future post holder will work as part of a team of 3 who support us to improve data quality, identify and monitor areas of pressures with capacity and demand in a broad range of community services.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will support services to ensure patient are seen within the agreed timescales. They will support with caseload monitoring and identify patients who have been lost to follow up or have been on caseload for long periods of time. They will produce weekly hot spot reporting and tracking of service that require additional support.

They will support clinical teams to apply RTT and waiting list validation process in place in line with patient access principles.

 

This post will suit someone who enjoys working with clinical systems and enjoys problem solving and working as part of a friendly and supportive team

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • NVQ4 /Diploma in Business and Administration or equivalent demonstrable experience
  • 5 GCE’s grade C or above including Mathematics and English Language or equivalent
Desirable criteria
  • Project management course

KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE

Essential criteria
  • Knowledge of NHS
  • Knowledge of LCFT policies and values
  • Advanced working knowledge of all Microsoft office applications e.g., Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge and awareness of working with people making health related changes
  • Knowledge of effective admin systems and ability to apply to work
  • Expert knowledge of NHS data systems such as EMIS, Best, iPM, eCPA, ESR and Health Roster
  • Knowledge of data analysis and associated software/computer systems acquired through diploma or equivalent experience/qualification
  • Data inputting and checking
  • Working in a customer services environment, dealing with individuals face to face and by telephone
  • Administration of meetings organising, minute taking
  • Diary management Supervision of staff Handling complaints
  • Managing performance data
