Job overview

An opportunity for Health care support workers has arisen within the princess of wales hospital on ward 5 stroke. We are looking for reliable motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join the team.

The individuals will be required to work under the direction of the registered nurse, ensuring high standards of care are provided and maintained at all times.

Main duties of the job

Successful candidate will be caring for patients on an acute stroke with complex health issues. You will be responsible for providing care for patients who require assistance with all activities of daily living including washing, dressing mobilising, feeding and pressure area care. 

Successful candidate will also be expected to complete documentation to an acceptable standard and assist in keeping ward area clean and clutter free.

The applicants will be expected to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills along with the ability to use their own initiative. Flexibility regarding shift patterns is essential.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
