Job overview
This role will be working in busy Trauma & Orthopaedic Fracture and Elective Clinic's in the Bridgend Area.
We are looking for a enthusiastic and motivated individual who can work independently as well as part of our team. Communication is an essential skill in this job as we deal with a varied aspect of patients and relatives alongside the numerous members of the multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
As part of this role you will be expected to manage wound care ranging from basic to complex, phlebotomy would be desirable alongside the recording of ECGs. Brace and splint fitting is a requirement and an existing knowledge of this is desirable but teaching will be provided.
The successful candidate will be expected to run nurse led clinics and take charge in the managers absence.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
