Job overview
We are looking for dynamic, forward thinking and committed nurses to join our dedicated CTM Stroke Wide Service, current base in Royal Glamorgan Hospital where we specialise in acute stroke care and rehabilitation.
The successful candidates will have excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high quality centred care. We have fantastic opportunities for you to develop your clinical skills and knowledge in an environment which is conductive to learning.
Main duties of the job
Nurses will be responsible for giving high quality patient centred care.
Monitor vital signs, including neurological observations.
Identify potential complications.
provide tailored care to individual needs. Including managing swallow difficulties , managing pain, and addressing mobility issues.
Work closely with other healthcare professionals like doctors, therapists and social workers to develop a comprehensive care plan.
Provide patient family education.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
