Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Physiotherapy Practitioner to join the Neuro Outpatient  Physiotherapy Service in Dewi Sant Hospital and Kier Hardie Health Park. We are looking for a new team member with excellent communication and motivational skills to join our busy team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, reliable and hardworking individual who is passionate about patient care, who can work both independently and function well in a team.

Based in clinics around health board and community settings. Working independently and jointly with physiotherapists .

Main duties of the job

This is predominately a rehabilitation based role with an opportunity to work with neuro  patients in an outpatient and community setting. You will work under the indirect supervision of Physiotherapists; you must be able to work well both individually and as part of a team.

In this role you can look forward to a career full of development opportunities and the support from an excellent team of Chartered Physiotherapists.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential criteria
  • Experience of working as a band 3 in healthcare or equivalent experience from the leisure of healthcare sector
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of equipment assessment and prescription

Qualifications

  • Evidence of NVQ level 3

  • Teaching individual exercises or classes

Other

Essential criteria
  • Previous experience of data inputting
Desirable criteria
