Please be advised that there is a temporary top up for Bands 1,2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top up to the  living wage of £12 per hour - £23,465 per annum. This temporary top up will be in place until  the annual pay uplift for 2024/25 is confirmed

The role involves autonomous working  and flexibility with the ability to travel across Gwent, delivering a high quality confidential care to our service users.  You will be a highly motivated experienced sexual health nurse able to work unsupervised in a community clinic setting.  You will be provided with the required induction and training programme.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Person specification

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Registered Nurse/ Midwife (currently registered with the NMC)
  • Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (DFSRH)/working toward
  • Experience of working in a sexual health environment at band 6
Desirable criteria
  • Teaching and assessing qualification
  • Non medical prescriber
  • worked with PGDs

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of Working in a sexual healthcare setting at band 6 or above
