Job overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join the Ty-Cyfannol ward team as a Band 6 Clinical Lead/Charge Nurse. The post-holder will have the ability to respond effectively to arising mental and physical health needs, provide sound clinical practice and guidance to junior staff, be adaptable, and capable of delivering a high standard of care.
The role involves a 12 hour shifts over a 7 day period. Flexible working options are available to be discussed.
Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity for a Clinical charge nurse has arisen within the Ty-Cyfannol ward, YYF hospital. Caerphilly.
Ty-Cyfannol is a 23 bedded adult acute inpatient ward serving the Caerphilly Borough , it is also the CAMHS holding for Gwent. The ward provides recovery/live well focused care for patients with wide ranging mental health issues between the ages of 18 and 65. The unit work closely with the West Gwent Home Treatment Team who gate keep admissions and facilitate patients early discharge back into the community. The ward also work closes with two CMHTs within the Caerphilly borough, Early intervention Services and Assertive Outreach Team.
The post is full time 37.5 hours per week
