Please be advised that there is a temporary top up for Bands 1,2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top up to the living wage of £12 per hour - £23,465 per annum. This temporary top up will be in place until the annual pay uplift for 2024/25 is confirmed
Job overview
The main duties of the posts is to care for individuals with complex health care needs in their own homes within the community.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for permanent Band 6 Deputy Clinical Lead Nurse specifically to work a young lady with complex health needs within the Abergavenny area.
Applications are welcomed from those with experience of caring for ventilated individuals. You will be fully supported to develop in a wide range of clinical skills including tracheostomy care, PEG management and advanced communication skills.
Main duties of the job
The successful individuals must be able to work autonomously whilst demonstrating excellent leadership and management skills including delegation to a skilled health care support worker.
As part of a holistic care model you will be involved in supporting the individual to access the community for both health and social appointments.
The role is challenging and rewarding and you will be fully encouraged and supported with your professional development. The care at home team has a dynamic internal education team with a focus on professional development and succession planning.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply
