We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join the Adult Weight Management Service (AWMS) at ABUHB. Established in 2014, the AWMS operates in line with the  All Wales Weight Management Pathway, offering Level 2 and 3 services. You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with our Children's and Maternity Weight Management Services, expanding your expertise in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.

Main duties of the job

Deliver a specialist weight management outpatient service in a variety of different ways including group sessions, assessment clinics, 1:1 interventions, support groups and telephone consultations. 

The post holders will support, develop and deliver the specialist dietetic services as part of the AWMS team. As specialist Dietitian the post holder will be expected to work independently, offering dietetic clinics, group sessions and providing dietetic support as part of a multi-disciplinary team offering specialist services for obese patients with complex needs.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

  • Experience of Bariatric Surgery

Qualifications

  • BSc Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent
