Please be advised that there is a temporary top up for Bands 1,2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top up to the  living wage of £12 per hour - £23,465 per annum. This temporary top up will be in place until  the annual pay uplift for 2024/25 is confirmed

Job overview

An exciting opportunity is available as a team administrator in the West Gwent Home Treatment Team based in Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr.

An administrator would need excellent communication and organisational skills, a flexible approach to work in a  busy environment is essential.

Some travel between health care sites may be required on occasion to cover the needs of the service. 

Main duties of the job

Inputting accurate patient information onto various databases. Supporting the local team with administrative duties.Typing of patient letters, reports  assessments. Minute taking for team meetings.

To be the first point of contact for some patients who may be distressed. Cross cover for administrative staff of various grades in their absence. Other duties as required and dependant on the needs of the service. 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply
