An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Support Medical Administrator to join the Diabetes & Endocrinology team (working across Medical Secretaries and Diabetes Specialist Nurses) at the James Paget University Hospital.
Main duties of the job
This role will consist of transcribing digital dictation in relation to outpatient clinic letters and other documentation as required for the patient pathway. Administrative duties will also be required to provide support to the medical secretaries and clinical teams as required.
All applicants should possess good levels of communication skills, have excellent touch typing/word processing skills with attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team. Good basic IT skills and experience working within an admin role are also essential. Knowledge of medical terminology would also be an advantage.
