Are you passionate about supporting the education of new starters into EEAST clinical roles? You will be part of our team, supporting the Lecturer Practitioner teams with the development, design and delivery of core training inductions and development programmes.
Main duties of the job
This role is responsible for assisting with the delivery of day-to-day Clinical Education Courses, to a diverse range of staff, both for scheduled and ad hoc delivery. Clinical Tutors will be responsible for first point of contact for candidates undertaking internal education programmes, liaising directly with the Lecturer Practitioner, responsible for the programme being delivered, to maintain the quality of education and learner experience across EEAST’s training venues. |

Person specification
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Degree, or equivalent qualification in relevant subject, or equivalent experience working in a related discipline.
- AET Level 3 (or willing to achieve within 12 months of appointment).
- Minimum clinical qualification Level 4 Diploma Associate Ambulance Practitioner (L4DAAP), or equivalent Emergency Medical Technician Qualification, and experience.
Desirable criteria
- CAVA or Assessing qualification, (or demonstrable experience, and willing to achieve within 6 months of appointment).
Knowledge and Skills
Essential criteria
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a patient facing, clinical role.
- EEAST Practice Educator Programme, (if no mentoring qualification).
Desirable criteria
- Assessment of learners in clinical practice and/or education/training programmes.
