Are you committed to improving the lives of children and young people by providing a mental health service we can be truly proud of? If the answer is yes, we’d love to hear from you!

We are seeking to recruit a Clinical Team leader within our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in Kings Lynn. An ideal role for someone that wants to combine elements of management and leadership while maintaining some direct clinical work.

This is an exciting time to join our CAMHS teams as we review our ways of working, to ensure our services are needs led, outcome informed and accessible for the young people within Norfolk and Waveney. We expect opportunities to be involved in providing specialist mental health care in a creative and innovative way, informed by overarching THRIVE principles. Further to this, we are working towards implementing newly designed treatment pathways and facilitating this implementation will be a key element of the role.

Main duties of the job

This is a great opportunity for someone experienced as a manager or someone with the skills and attributes to make the first step into leadership.

We are looking for someone who see challenges as opportunities and can influence, inspire and energise others, as well as work with people’s strengths to strive service improvement and patient experience.

When you join us, you’ll be working alongside the Service Manager, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Senior Nurses and will manage a team who provides mental health and psychologically informed services for children and young people in our communities. Currently our Kings Lynn (West) team is working with our Central team to enable shared resources and support, and therefore this will provide additional support to the successful candidate.

You’ll be compassionate, approachable and person centred whilst supporting with the day to day delivery of our specialist service. You will be organised, quality driven and levelheaded when managing any operational/clinical issues arising within the service too.

In return, you can expect a thorough induction, ongoing support and training and to feel truly valued in the work you do.

Working for our organisation

Here at NSFT we pride ourselves on being a welcoming, talented, friendly and supportive team who like nothing better than sharing experiences and learning from each other. In addition to ongoing training and development opportunities, we are committed to providing an environment in which you can thrive.

Why work for us? We have challenges as a Trust, but we have ambitious aspirations, are pushing ahead with exciting transformation work and we need dedicated individuals to support us on our journey. We have strong, established nursing networks coupled with an exceptional leadership team who will ensure you are truly cared for and cared about.

Why Norfolk and Suffolk? The people here are warm and welcoming, you’ll never be far from the beautiful coastline or Broads National Park. We’re an hour and a half away from London and have an international airport in Norwich too. Our villages, towns and cities are packed full of history, independent cafes, shops and theatres. We have excellent shopping, eating out, top ranking schooling and affordable house prices too.
