We are seeking to recruit a band 5  Registered Nurse to join our Bury North Community Mental Health Team (BNCMHT). You may be a Mental Health Nurse, with experience in  community Mental Health. We are looking to appoint nurses who can join our Team and bring with them fresh ideas and fresh ambition.

BNCMHT is an Adult community mental health team covering Newmarket and the surrounding areas.

Our primary focus is on collaborative working; placing great emphasis on the assessment/recovery model. Many aspects relating to service user recovery is reflected within the assessment tools the patients and staff use and the philosophy that underpins patient centred care.

You will need to be enthusiastic and conscientious and do everything you can to provide the best care to our service users. We are looking for someone who displays compassion, empathy and is sensitive in your approach to people who may be distressed or have a challenging manner.  

You can expect to mange your own caseload of Adult patients with severe and enduring mental illness.

You will support and cover duty for service users in distress.

You will communicate with all other statuary and non statuary agency's.

You will attend all relevant multi disciplinary team meetings.

In return, we offer a supportive team environment where you will develop your own knowledge of psychosocial interventions and positive health promotion, with first-hand experience of engaging service users within an community setting

BNCMHT are a caring and nurturing team. You will be made to feel extremely welcome . Regular supervision both Managerial and clinical is offered four weekly and appraisals are meaningful and collaborative. We develop our own staff and generally have a stable staff collective.
