The Trust is seeking a Specialty Doctor to join the Central Norfolk Rehabilitation for Complex Psychosis Team. 

Leadership of the team is provided by the Shared Leadership Team consisting of the Consultant Psychiatrist, AHP lead Occupational Therapist, Clinical Lead Nurse, and Lead Psychologist.

The team is multi agency, with members employed by NSFT, Norfolk County Council, Together UK, Change Grow Live, Mind, and Norfolk Community Law Service.

Main duties of the job

The Central Norfolk Rehabilitation for Complex Psychosis is a service which has been developed through the community transformation programme.  It has been designed closely following the NICE guidelines and with the support of the Royal College of Psychiatry Rehabilitation Faculty.

This service forms part of a wider plan for developing rehabilitation services across the Trust. Plans are in development for expansion of community rehabilitation services across the rest of Norfolk.  A rehabilitation ward is planned on the new Rivers inpatient site and a community rehabilitation unit in Norwich is in the commissioning process. Additional medical staff will be recruited as this expansion takes place.

These are exciting times for development of Rehabilitation services in Norfolk and the post holder will be central to these developments.

Experience
