Hellesdon Acute Admin Team are looking to recruit a conscientious, calm and confident individual to become part of the well established administration team.  This role will be  supporting the Ward Managers across the five acute inpatient wards.

You must possess excellent time management skills, a positive approach and be able to remain calm under pressure. 

You will need to be able to demonstrate the strength of your communication, prioritisation and administration skills at the same time as showcasing your knowledge of IT systems. You will be able to evidence a flexible response to service needs and the ability to think creatively. Experience of working to deadlines, on your own initiative and maintaining confidentiality are also essential.

Duties include but are not limited to:

•    Minute taking 
•    Reporting staff sickness absence and preparing associated paperwork
•    Monitoring, booking and recording staff training
•    Recording staff supervision and appraisal compliance
•    Creating reports of ward level data 
•    Assisting Ward Managers with recruitment of new staff
•    Preparing induction paperwork for new starters
•    Processing staff assignment changes and resignations
•    Assisting Ward Managers with setting up team Away Days
•    Maintaining staff records electronically and physically
•    Liaising with other relevant teams across the Trust and with contacts in other organisations

We have 2 roles available,  both offered on a permanent contract.

  • 1 x full time role: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00-17:00.
  • 1 x part time role: 22.5 hours per week between the hours of 8:00-17:00. Working hours must include a Monday and Friday to meet service need, other hours can be negotiated.
