Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust provides child and adult mental health services, learning disability, wellbeing, older people's and eating disorder services across Norfolk and Suffolk.

Job overview

We are looking for someone who is passionate about listening to staff, and who is already or can learn to become adept at cocreating high-quality information for staff.


We are looking for someone who has experience of working with staff networks. The successful candidate will work closely with the HR team and feel confident in developing and delivering engaging campaigns as the Trust delivers against one of its main priorities of improving culture 
within the organisation.


You would be responsible for continuously seeking to improve the channels through which we engage our colleagues. As well as being able to write clearly and accurately, you will have the skills to film, produce and edit videos.


You will have at least five years' experience or training in communications up to degree level. 


Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust has bases in Norwich and Ipswich, and successful candidates will be able to travel across the two counties.

  • Relevant degree level or equivalent plus training and/or experience in communications field.

  • Knowledge of staff communication s and engagement
  • Knowledge of the NHS and main issues regarding staff.

Skills

Essential criteria
  • Good working knowledge of the latest staff communications and engagement tools, including digital, social media, marketing techniques, and use of video.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Communications, Journalism or PR or equivalent plus training and/or experience in communications field to master’s degree level

  • Relevant postgraduate qualification or proven level ability
