Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust provides child and adult mental health services, learning disability, wellbeing, older people's and eating disorder services across Norfolk and Suffolk.
At any one time, around 23,000 people in Norfolk and Suffolk are receiving care and attention from the Trust. Our new opportunity is for the role of Assistant HRBP supporting the HRBP's in delivering workforce strategies and plans across our clinical and corporate services. It’s such an exciting time to join us with lots of transformation and workforce change, you will have opportunity to develop your HR generalist portfolio of experience and be an integral part of workforce programme management teams.
In this interesting and varied role, you will have the opportunity to get involved in creating and delivering HR solutions according to business need as well as supporting projects, implementing change, coaching and advising senior managers and building your HR career.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a candidate qualified or working towards CIPD qualification or with equivalent knowledge and experience. You will be someone who:
- Can demonstrate experience of advising managers on a wide range of HR operational issues, with sound employment law knowledge.
- Is comfortable interpreting and working with data to inform solutions
- Is a passionate team player, with strong influencing skills who lives our values.
- A calm and confident communicator who will work proactively with managers to bring about change

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) qualified (equivalent to post graduate diploma) or working towards CIPD qualification or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
Experience
Essential criteria
- Demonstrable experience of advising managers on a wide range of HR operational issues e.g. grievance, disciplinary, absence management, etc
Desirable criteria
- Use of Electronic Staff Record (ESR)
Knowledge
