Trosolwg o'r swydd

My name's Keir Brisbane and I am the new Service Manager for the Youth Service.

In our service we support young people (aged 14-25 years) who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties. We have enthusiastic and skilled staff who provide the support that is needed - and they are motivated to make a real difference to young people, their families and carers.

As an employer, I and Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust are particularly committed to enabling our staff to do the very best they can through support and training, as well as opportunities for progression. We are confident, therefore, that the right candidate will have a real chance to make a positive impact to the lives of young people in Norfolk.

As a service we are striving to meet the challenges that we are facing, and to create a working environment that is sustainable, effective for our young people, and fulfilling for our staff.

We’re really excited to offer this trainee DBT therapist post within our North Youth Team. In this role you will train in the discipline of Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and – upon successful accreditation* – progress to the role of Band-7 Psychological Therapist. This is a chance to be a major force for change in the service, and to develop your skills to meet the needs of our young people.

*please note that progression will also be contingent upon satisfactory performance within your role.
