Are you passionate about working with children young people and families in County Durham to improve their emotional, mental health, supporting them to build resilience?  If the answer is yes we are expanding our emotional health and resilience team and we would love to hear from you!

The post holder will work as part of the children’s community health commissioned service; under the direction and supervision of the Emotional Health & Resilience Nurse / Practitioner contributing to the provision of high quality emotional health and resilience support services for children young people, parents, carers and families. Being pro-active in delivering the national and Public Health agendas in response to identified health and social need, working in partnership with other agencies to meet agreed standards, objectives and statutory requirements.

 

Main duties of the job

To support the emotional health and resilience team in the delivery of  the  commissioned emotional health and resilience offer in County Durham, ensuring services are provided within the tiered model approach – building community capacity, universal, universal plus and universal partnership plus. To be professionally accountable and responsible and adhere to and apply the Trust standards.

  • Childcare qualification

Skills/Aptitudes

  • Administrative and basic IT skills including word processing

  • Knowledge of the Solihull Approach model

Experience

  • Experience working with CYP&F supporting emotional health
