Darlington Growing Healthy 0-19 Service, are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic, experienced health visitors who want to lead and support the training of our health visitors of the future.

Joining our team, you will deliver the Healthy Child Programme, to families across Darlington. We would love you to come and  help us  to ensure positive outcomes for our children and families. We follow the key principles of the Best Start in Life, and successfully support integrated working , and learning with our Darlington partners. 

Main duties of the job

Being  a high performing team, we are looking for qualified health visitors to lead our skill mix team, and help us train the health visitors of the future. and support families across Darlington ,in delivery of the Healthy Child Programme.

- Delivering the Healthy Child Contacts.

- Providing health promotion at community events.

- Leading and supporting skill mix team.

- Supporting students.

  • Specialist Community Public Health Nurse Qualification (HV)
  • NMC registration
  • Excellent IT skills
