EPR Improvement Manager

NHS AfC: Band 7

Job overview

Do you love it when continuous improvements add up to something transformational for the heath care that patients receive?

Do you know how to apply improvement science thinking in digital and operational contexts?

The EPR Improvement Manager plays a pivotal role in facilitating the successful delivery of the benefits of our new Electronic Patient Record with work aligned to HDFT's Strategic Planning Framework. This role demands an improvement practitioner who can work with our EPR Benefits Lead to facilitate EPR-related continuous improvement work using our Impact lean methodology.

Main duties of the job

You will work closely with the EPR Benefits Lead and be responsible for project assurance, risk management, stakeholder communication, and ensuring that the benefits of our EPR digital transformation projects are delivered efficiently and effectively. They will work collaboratively with colleagues from across the Trust to do this.

You will support the Deputy Director – Strategy and Improvement across a range of continuous improvement, improvement operating model, business transformation and pathway/process improvement work, spanning the breadth of the Trust’s functions. The postholders will work in a complex environment, with various clinical directorates, health and care system partner organisations, patient groups and local communities.

Working for our organisation

Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust (HDFT) cares for the population in Harrogate and the local area, as well as across North Yorkshire, Leeds and parts of the North East.

At HDFT we provide outstanding care to both our patients and our staff and we value Kindness, Integrity, Teamwork and Equality. If you’re looking for an interesting and rewarding career in the NHS, where you can make a real difference to patients’ lives, HDFT could be the place for you!
