Job overview
Within the Planned and Surgical Care Directorate at Harrogate District Hospital, we are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community.
We are recruiting to a Service Manager on a permanent basis. This Service Manager post is a key position within the Planned and Surgical Care Directorate, working within the Imaging Department and will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational management and support.
The post holder will be a member of the Triumvirate Team, working closely with the named Care Group Clinical Lead and AHP Lead, you will ensure we deliver high quality services, provide an excellent experience for our patients and meet our regulatory and operational performance targets.
Main duties of the job
The Service Manager is a key management role and is responsible for the operational delivery of all aspects of the Imaging service areas across the Harrogate Hospital site. The key aims are:
- Provide timely, efficient and effective operational service management support for all specialities within the Care Group to ensure that these services are responsive, innovative and provided to the highest possible clinical and performance standards.
- Take forward agreed projects to improve service delivery and patient experience in key areas.
- Lead on ensuring that all performance/quality targets are met.
- To be a key member of Care Group triumvirate team, taking full responsibility for actions and for keeping other team members fully informed at all times.
