Deputy Director of Strategy & Improvement

NHS AfC: Band 8d

Trosolwg o'r swydd

Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust has a long history of lean quality improvement – we know this approach works and we have seen the improvements it can bring for patients and staff.  HDFT Impact will take our improvement approach to the next level and embed improvement at the centre of our culture and operating model so we can provide the best quality, safest health and care services for our patients and children; and make HDFT the best place to work for our colleagues.

The Deputy Director of Strategy and Improvement is an outstanding opportunity to take a critical, leadership role in the Trust, driving forward our Strategy through improvement for our patients, communities and staff.  You will lead HDFT Impact across the Trust and with our system partners, and will also be the formal deputy to the Executive Director of Strategy, across their whole portfolio.

Please note that selection will be via an Assessment Centre day which will be held on Thursday 29 August 2024.  The Assessment Centre will consist of a group exercise, a written exercise, a presentation and values-based panel interview. Further details of the selection process will be provided to shortlisted candidates by 22 August.

For an informal discussion about the role with Matt Graham - Executive Director of Strategy, please contact Jayne Taylor ([email protected]).  Due to annual leave, opportunities for informal discussions will be between 18-24 July and 12-16 August.
