Job overview

We are seeking a highly organised and self-motivated individual to join our team in a key role where professionalism and a keen eye for detail is essential. 

The successful candidate will have a strong background in implementing corporate branding, ensuring consistency across all materials and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

A high level of proficiency in all Office programs, including document creation and formatting, is required, along with strong administrative capabilities such as minute taking and general office support. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

You will be joining a friendly and supportive team where you will receive a full induction and any required training. 

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide a full range of administrative support to the Business Development and Corporate Team and to service as the first point of contact for The Company wide business development and corporate queries. 

The post holder will liaise with all members of staff, both internal and external to the Company and demonstrate the ability to:

  • Manage meetings within the department, to include the preparation of agendas, collating documentation and taking and transcribing minutes/action points
  • Support the Associate Director to achieve their objectives and the objectives of the department
  • Manage specific projects as appropriate
  • Attend meetings to ensure co-ordination of services within the team

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The principle duties and responsibilities are to:

  • Coordinate and organise the day to day running of the Business Development and Corporate Team in a confidential and efficient manner.  You will be the first point of contact for all communications (face-to-face, telephone, outlook email), ensuring enquiries from the Deputy Chief Executive, Directors, Senior Managers and external agencies are dealt with quickly and efficiently. 
  • Act as the key point of contact for The Company business development and corporate queries, maintaining confidentiality and communicating sensitive, changing information in a timely response to questions and concerns thereby maintaining satisfaction levels with the Business Development Team and ongoing commitment to the company.
  • Provide administrative support to the Business Development and Corporate Team and action assigned tasks for specific projects in accordance with agreed deadlines and expected outcomes.

Essential criteria
  • A good standard of education at GCSE and A level standard or equivalent including English and Maths

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Significant experience of working in an administrative role
  • Experience of implementing corporate branding
Desirable criteria
  • Previous experience of working in a business development and/or NHS role
  • Marketing and/or design experience

Skills and Aptitudes

Essential criteria
  • Proactive with the ability to work autonomously
  • Methodical and organised
  • Excellent administrative and good presentation skills with a high level of accuracy
