Trosolwg o'r swydd

Are you a registered children’s nurse looking for a new challenge as part of an established children’s community team?

We are looking for an experienced, qualified children’s nurse (RN Child/RSCN) to join our friendly and supportive team community team across site.  The ideal candidate would have a minimum of two years experience within paediatrics.

We are a dedicated team of children’s community nurses who facilitate health care for children in their own home. Our caseload is varied and includes complex, long term conditions and a broad range of chronic medical conditions.  We provide the shared care for the regional oncology centre at the Leeds General Infirmary.  We also offer short term support for medical and surgical patients to facilitate discharge and reduce ward attendance and readmission.

The successful applicant will need to be a team player with excellent communication skills and a drive to provide high quality care. We actively encourage personal development and offer a preceptorship programme led by our clinical nurse educator. Within our department we have a paediatric day surgical unit and a children’s out-patients department. A busy in-patient ward and a Children's assessment unit. Our service also has a full team of specialist nurses for diabetes, epilepsy, asthma, allergy and bowel and bladder.
