NHFT Staff Bank is an essential part of the Trust that supplies temporary staffing of all kinds, clinical and non-clinical. As a member of the Staff Bank Team you will make an important difference to our patients’ care every day.

Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the assessment of patient care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans as part of a multidisciplinary team. The role will also see you act as a lead for support staff on a daily basis. Alongside excellent opportunities for progression within our large Trust, the role offers excellent training and development.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be a qualified nurse with a strong interest and desire to care for others during the acute phase of their illness. If you have up-to-date clinical knowledge and experience, excellent interpersonal skills, clear verbal and written communication skills, ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team, have the ability to organise own work in an efficient and effective manner and are flexible and reliable in response to needs of department.

Essential criteria
- Relevant degree/qualification
- Registered with the NMC
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of training in mental health / challenging behaviour
Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
- Recent experiences as a registered Nurse
- Demonstrates empathy including listening
- Experience of patient care related systems/record recording
Desirable criteria
- Previous NHS experience
- Experience of Psychological intervention or experience in a MH Setting
Other
Essential criteria
- Good written English communication
