An opportunity has arisen for a position within the Emergency Department ( ED)   as a Patient Co Ordinator joining our supportive and friendly team. This vacancy will involve working a shift pattern covering a variety of shifts to include days, nights, evenings and weekends. We are looking for an individual who is flexible and has excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure in an extremely busy department and consistently work to a high standard of efficiency. Previous ED experience is not essential as full training will be given. Previous applicants need not apply

Essential criteria
  • good standard of education to GCSE level or equivalent including numeracy and literacy skills
  • NVQ level 2 or relevant hospital experience

knowledge and experience

  • experience of team working
  • knowledge of administrative procedures
  • knowledge of GDPR (data protection) and how to apply
Desirable criteria
  • experience of working in Emergency Dept
  • good working knowledge of hospital systems including Medway
