Job overview

Kettering General Hospital Foundation NHS Trust is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, hard working person to join our theatre team.

The post will involve you transferring patients throughout the site ensuring working practices comply with all current policies and procedures. The successful candidate will assist as requested under the direct supervision of the practitioner in charge and provide support within the theatre department. Duties will involve, lifting, pulling and pushing of medium to heavy loads.

The ability to communicate effectively is essential as the role involves constant interaction with staff and patients and will require the post holder to be aware of the need to be caring, courteous, respectful, confidential, and customer focused in the delivery of their duties.

Supporting Theatre efficiency in turnaround of patients.

Lifting and Handling of patients and equipment

Working across all theatre areas.

Transporting equipment and specimens, waste management and occasional cleaning duties.
