You will need to be able to work in a fast paced environment and have excellent communication and written English skills. You must also have a good level of experience using Microsoft Office applications. You will be able to deal calmly when dealing with multiple tasks and maintain the highest levels of confidentiality. In return you will have access to a wide range of benefits available to the NHS as well as being made welcome as a key member of our team who will value your skills and contribution.

Main duties of the job

Excellent communication skills are essential as well as the ability to work on your own initiative with a high degree of autonomy and minimal supervision. Attention to detail and the ability to produce error free documents are critically important and need to be maintained even in times of pressure.

Candidates must have experience of supporting high level meetings including compiling agendas and associated papers along with minute taking skills. Strong team working and cross-cover for colleagues will be required.

The position will be based at Haylock House, RCI Building, Kettering, Northamptonshire.

Working for our organisation

NHFT is an integrated primary care and mental health Trust, providing physical, mental health and specialty services in both hospital settings and out in the community. Because we put the person at the centre of all we do, we focus on delivering care that is as easy to access as possible. This means many of our services can be provided at home, work or in schools. We also provide health services to various prisons and detention centres in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
