We offer a number of different clinical specialty areas through which you can rotate every 6 months or you may prefer to develop in a specific specialty. We can be flexible! You will be able to build relations with other staff to ensure safe and effective medicines optimisation for patients. The role involves undertaking projects, contributing to guidelines, PGD developments, investigating medicine related incidents and training others.

NGH Pharmacy team will be holding a Recruitment Day on Saturday 6th July (details attached) where we would strongly encourage you to come and meet some of our team and discuss this role and working at NGH. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and hear more about the recruitment process we have planned. We look forward to meeting you!

Throughout our department, we have a very strong team ethos and you will have good support from your peers, the senior pharmacists and technicians. You will work closely with our team of clinical pharmacists. We are in the process of implementing electronic prescribing and medicines administration on all our inpatient wards.

Applicants without the qualification will be supported through the course after the probation period. If you do not meet all the essential criteria for this band 7 post, we may be able to offer a band 6 to 7 progression with a supported training program.
