Business Manager and Project Administration Lead for Safeguarding

Job overview

This role provides business management and project administration support to an assigned member / members of the Trust’s Executive Team, ensuring a focus on quality and delivery at all times.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of the Executive member(s) core business as agreed with the Executive member(s).

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be working in an integrated skill mix team that includes a number of internal and external stakeholders of the Trusts. They will work closely with the wider Operations and Corporate directorates and will need to develop strong links with these colleagues to understand operational priorities.

Knowledge & Experience

Essential criteria
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent knowledge and experience with the area of business management support
  • High level knowledge and demonstrable experience of administration processes, and customer service
  • Experience of working in safeguarding
Desirable criteria
  • Knowledge of project management / support including how to project timeline, action log, risk log and decision log

Skills and Abilities

Essential criteria
  • Computer literate and competent in Microsoft Office and databases
  • High-level communication skills: oral and written, excellent report writing and presentation skills delivering clear ideas concisely and accurately for diverse audiences
