Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa.
Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.

Main duties of the job
The Community Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service aims to provide Pulmonary Rehabilitation for adults with COPD (and/or other respiratory conditions) and aims to promote independence, prevent hospital admission or admission to care, and to help people achieve their rehabilitation goals.
The role is based in Mansfield & Ashfield, but flexible working is required to cover sickness/leave in Newark & Sherwood as required.
The service operates 8-4pm Monday to Friday

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
We are in search for a Pulmonary Rehab Support Worker within the Planned & Proactive Care Unit : Community Health Services Division.
We are looking to recruit a flexible and compassionate Pulmonary Rehab Support Worker to join our service within Mid Notts.
You will work along side other Specialist Services including Respiratory Nurse Specialists and Oxygen Nurse Specialists. One a day to day basis you will work closely with the Specialist PR Physiotherapists to deliver a holistic and comprehensive Pulmonary Rehabilitation programme to patients in a community setting (Health Centre or Community venue) or in a patients own homes.

To assist in the provision of Pulmonary Rehabilitation service by implementing an agreed programme, set by the Specialist Physiotherapist, working at times without direct supervision.
To provide Pulmonary Rehabilitation with the aim of improving function for people with diagnosed lung conditions, through individual treatment plans, exercise programmes and education.
To collect relevant data that will support the effectiveness of clinical interventions
To be able to respond flexibly to new service developments
A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010
