Job overview

IMPACT is an established Provider Collaborative, with responsibility for commissioning Adult Secure Mental Health services for the East Midlands Region. IMPACT is hosted by Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) and comprises nine provider organisations, both NHS and independent sector.

This role will sit within the Provider Collaborative hub and report to the IMPACT Business Manager. Professional finance support and development opportunities will come from the NHFT Finance Directorate.

The IMPACT Finance function will oversee the financial performance for East Midlands Adult Secure Mental Health services, ensuring systems are in place for robust financial control and promoting best value for money.

To avoid conflicts of interest and maintain the ‘Chinese’ Wall between the Lead Provider and other Providers within the Provider Collaborative, the post holder will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement.

 

Main duties of the job

To provide an efficient, effective, confidential administrative service to the IMPACT Collaborative Support Hub

The position involves organising schedules, minute taking, organising meetings, coordinating information and working on various IT systems.

Set up and manage office systems efficiently and effectively.

The post holder will be expected to work on their own, using their own initiative within the guidelines set by Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

To assist in organising and maintaining registers, e.g. Contracts register, and all administrative tasks e.g. filing, posting of contracts,

To assist the Care and Treatment Review (CTR) senior administrator in arranging CTRs, and tasks that relate to clinical governance, complaints, safeguarding and Serious Incidents

To provide support as required across the team’s administrative functions during periods of absence or high demand, so a level of flexibility is required

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • GCSE Grade 4 – 9 in Maths and English
  • Knowledge of a full range of Business & Administration procedures acquired through NVQ Level 3 or proven practical experience
  • RSA/OCR level III or equivalent

Knowledge

  • Dealing with people to maintain a high level of customer care
  • Scheduling and diary management
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of the data protection act and maintaining strict confidentiality
